Karolina WELTROWSKA, Violon
Violoniste née en Pologne, elle a étudié le violon avec Mirosław Ławrynowicz à l’Université de musique Frédéric-Chopin de Varsovie et au conservatoire de Francfort avec Priya Mitchell. Avec son quatuor à cordes, elle a étudié à l’European Chamber Music Academy (ECMA) où elle a eu comme professeur, entre autres, Hatto Beverle.
Elle a remporté plusieurs prix dans des concours nationaux de violon et s’est produite comme soliste avec différents orchestres polonais. Elle a joué dans les plus grands festivals de musique de chambre tels que Kuhmo, Lockenhaus, Oxford, Osnabrück et Schleswig-Holstein.
Karolina Weltrowska was born in Polandand studied the violin with Mirosław Ławrynowicz at the
Frédéric Chopin Music Academy in Warsaw and with Priya Mitchell at the Academy of Music and
Performing Arts in Frankfurt am Main. With her string quartet she was a student at the European
Chamber Music Academy (ECMA) where her teacher was, among others, Hatto Beyerle.
Karolina is a prize winner of major national violin competitions and appeared as a solist with
orchestras in her native country. She won first prizes in the international chamber music competitions
in Heerlen (Netherlands), Sondershausen, and Weimar (Germany).
Karolina has performed at various chamber music festivals, including Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival,
Oxford Chamber Music Festival, Stift International Music Festival, Kammermusikfest Lockenhaus,
Osnabrücker Kammermusiktage and Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival.
